The first steps in the knowledge of insects
Fabre graduated from Seminary, received the initial training of teachers in Avignon and he was sent to work as a school teacher in the small town of Carpentras. As the income of teachers was low, the family of the young scientist had a rough time. Despite his desire to live and work in the Lyceum, he was dismissed due to disagreements with his superiors and is forced to move to the city orange. Fabre with his family settled in a country house.
