The owner of a pizzeria to offer a discount only to believers
Steven rose loves Jesus and pepperoni pizza.
Association of free thought (FFRF) threatened to sue Stephen because he offered a discount to customers who go to Church. This violates the civil rights Act of 1964.
Stephen — owner, admits that he has no money on expensive trial — he’s not Papa John’s.
The law requires to offer the same services to customers regardless of race, color, religion, national origin.
«It was a direct marketing tool, I wanted to give a discount to people I love and care for.» said Stephen. «I thought it was a good idea. I didn’t say you had to go to Church, there to receive the coupon. You could get a ticket from your neighbor».
Problems started a few weeks ago when someone posted on Facebook a photo of the sign.
Two weeks ago he received a letter from Wisconsin, the founder of the atheist group. He said that if Stephen did not stop to offer a Church discount, they would «take appropriate action».
«I just sell pizza,» Stephen said. «I love my Lord, and you will see it expressed all over my building — but I’m just selling pizzas.»
