Ratatouille
If you’ve never tried Ratatouille, and it’s the only word you know from the cartoon, then you certainly should fill this gap in my life, especially because it’s incredibly tasty dish, very easy to prepare.
For preparation will need:
— 2 heads of onions;
— 2 cloves of garlic;
— 1 eggplant;
— 1 zucchini;
— 2 green pepper;
— 8 small tomatoes;
— 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary;
— 3 sprigs of fresh thyme;
— olive oil;
— salt, pepper;
foil;
— fire-proof baking dish.
1. Chop the onion and garlic
2. Wash and chop all the other vegetables
3. Put them in a fireproof dish
4. Sprinkle with salt…
… and pepper
5. Sprinkle with olive oil
Stir so all vegetables are evenly coated with oil
6. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180 C for 45 minutes
After 45 minutes the vegetables are ready, but they are not browned
7. Remove the foil and bake another 30 to 45 minutes until they are lightly browned
And then… you can mix with pasta
You can fall as a side dish to fried chicken
Or with scrambled eggs
