Intel Edison: a computer the size of an SD card
Intel announced the start of sales and functional miniature computer Edison, which for its size can be compared with the SD memory card. The size of the device are only 35,5h25h3,9 mm. the New platform Intel Edison is designed for inventors, entrepreneurs and developers, creating a compact or a wearable device.

Miniature computer Edison managed to fit a dual core Atom chip, which runs at 500 MHz, 100 MHz, 32-bit microcontroller Quark, 1 GB of RAM LPDDR3, SSD eMMC v4.51 4 GB and wireless adapter is Broadcom 43340 support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. And all this is integrated in the housing that is slightly larger than the size of a postage stamp.
