All the best… on a stick

I always liked the barbecue and other things, pierced with a stick. First, it is really a kind of men’s food, incredibly I like, and secondly, it is a food that can be eaten without utensils, and other tools. Today we continue the marathon men’s food (as I remember, we had the best recipes for chicken wings and dishes with beer) and talk about the best food, for which you need a skewer or stick.

So, first you will need the pieces of beef that must be marinated.

For the marinade you will need:

  • 1/3 Cup olive oil;
  • 1/3 Cup soy sauce;
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar;
  • 1/4 Cup of honey;
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced;
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger;
  • ground black pepper, to taste.

The meat in the marinade should be kept at least 30 minutes. On skewers, you can put mushrooms, onion rings, garlic and pepper. Bake or barbecue on the grill or in the oven. On the grill 8-10 minutes per side, in oven about 20 minutes.

For barbecue uses beef.

And for a sweet marinade you need:

  • 1/3 Cup roasted crushed peanuts;
  • 1/3 Cup brown sugar;
  • 1/4 Cup of salted soy sauce;
  • 1/4 Cup of lemon juice;
  • 5 cloves of crushed garlic;
  • 100 ml lime juice;
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger;
  • 1 teaspoon of curry;
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.

And for the peanut sauce you need:

  • 1/3 Cup ready-made marinade
  • 100 grams minced peanut
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • lime juice
  • tablespoon soy sauce
  • a third of the chili pepper without seeds
  • two feathers of green onions chopped

The meat will marinate for 4 hours. For spicy peanut sauce, mix all the ingredients and decorate top with small peanuts.

I remember how passionately I love bacon in the US? Offer to your attention a caramel bacon. In the truest sense of the word.

For its preparation you will need:

  • 4 cups of granulated sugar;
  • 4 cups of water;
  • 12 strips of bacon;
  • 1 Cup brown sugar;
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard;
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Mix in a small saucepan sugar and water. Bring to a boil. Add the bacon and boil the mixture for another five minutes. Get the strips and blot with a towel from grease and moisture. Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees (it had to write at first, but let’s face it — our bad). Pierce skewers the bacon, put it on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

Quite an interesting way. However, the American dudes we strongly recommend to take peanut butter. But it’s expensive, so I suggest you to try the sauce from the second recipe, or use multiple kinds of mustard.

4 chops you will need:

  • peanut butter;
  • mustard or barbeque sauce;
  • the honey mustard.

Coat chops with the mixture, pierce with a chopstick. Fry two sides for 5 minutes each chop, and then bake them in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Crisp and interesting result.

  • 1 Cup corn flakes;
  • 2 tablespoons flour;
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder;
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika;
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt;
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper;
  • 1/4 Cup of vegetable oil;
  • pound chicken Breasts;;
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 15 minutes
  • 1/2 Cup of grated Parmesan cheese.

Grind the flakes, mix with cheese, pepper, butter, paprika, salt, garlic powder. Thoroughly mix the dough, dip the chicken pieces in the mixture, use the skewers, put on a pre-covered with foil a baking pan. Bake pieces for 15 minutes in a preheated 200 degree oven.
