Veltheimia — care at home
Veltheimia is a plant from South Africa, belongs to the family Liliaceae, it relates to a decorative flowering and decorative-deciduous and grows well in the indoor environment.
The most popular form – «Veltheimia Cape» – is a plant with light green leaves, in shape, usually oval, wavy edge, length up to 30 cm.
It blooms in winter and spring, producing a large pink inflorescence with drooping flowers.

Location and lighting
Space for the maintenance of the plant should be well lit, but without direct sunlight.
In summer it is better to keep in a darkened room, so that it dropped leaves, and then in September begin to grow a new one. In the room there should be no draughts.
