Location and lighting

Despite the fact that the plant is poisonous Jatropha can deliver easy target for some pests (thrips, spider mites).
This is the fault of improper care: excessive humidity or too dry air.
When you see the plant pests of Jatropha should be treated (sprayed) with a solution of universal insecticide.
From mechanical removal of pests (i.e. direct contact with the plant) will have to be abandoned because of the toxicity of Jatropha.
