In the spring and summer, needs moderate watering, excessive soil moisture may occur rotting of the root system. In dry air the plant feels good, and spraying it is not required.
These flowers grow well and bloom, even without feeding. Therefore, fertilize it infrequently over the entire growth season fertilizers are applied up to 4 times. To do this, use ready-made tools for cacti and succulents.
Transplantation and propagation
Transplanted at a young age every year, then in 2-3 years. This plant does not like too rich soil, so transplant it is better to use a ready substrate for succulents or a mixture of turf and leaf soil or wet peat (1 part) and coarse sand (2 parts).
One of the main ways of reproduction – the child branch sprouts that appear on the parent birds.
Their roots in a mixture of peat and sand or in the water and planted in normal soil. In late summer the plants can be separated leaf cuttings and root.
Propagated glottiphyllum and seeds, but they appeared to cross-pollination.
Seeds are planted in a container with light soil with added sand and good drainage. Watering so that water does not stagnate. Seedlings are transplanted into individual pots when they grow to 3-5 mm.
