Better if the light is diffused and fairly intense. Lack of coverage also adversely affects the condition of the plant: leaf color fades.
Temperature
Brania loves high air temperature in summer from +25 to 27°C in winter – not less than +18°C. find the plants in a cold room without running the risk of death.
Watering and humidity
This tropical plant should be provided with a high humidity of soil and air. Watering during the growing season (spring and summer) is carried out abundantly, and in winter less intensely, but without drying the soil.
Spraying should be daily in summer, and in autumn and in winter slightly less. To maintain a sufficient level of humidity in the pan with a pot to put the wet gravel.
Fertilizer
With the onset of heat to autumn the plant it is desirable to feed liquid fertilizer that you add to water for irrigation, or to use a mineral stick.
Transplantation and propagation
Young, rapidly growing plants are transplanted every spring, and adults – in 2-3 years. If the instance is large to ease the task, you can only update the top layer of soil. The optimal composition of the substrate: ground sheet (2 parts), turf ground, sand one part.
The most convenient method of propagation of breynia – using stem cuttings. After cutting, the cuttings are immediately placed in a warm place with high humidity, for example, a film, a plastic bag or a glass jar.
Hold at a temperature of 25°C until the appearance of roots. Another method of propagation is by root suckers, which are planted in a separate pot for rooting.
Pests and fight with them
This plant has a strong immunity to pests. If they still appear (usually scale insects, spider mites or thrips), apply the usual remedies against insects: actellic or Malathion, removing pests with soap and water.
