Leaves «Bertolonii marble» heart-shaped, with light green streaks. «Spotty» has dark green leaves with a speckled pattern at the edges of the leaf blade. In some varieties the leaves are silvery.

Growing bertolonii

Being a native of the tropics, bertolone heat-loving and water-loving plant. In the home requires special care. A favorable environment for it to create a terrarium, a greenhouse.

 

Location and lighting

Photophilous plant. You need to provide bright light and shading. If growing on windowsills, you need to choose Windows facing West or East.

Watering and humidity

Summer watering abundant. Pour bertolonii only soft water pooled. The soil should be always moist but not waterlogged. In winter, watering is moderate.
