Dmitry Malyshko: biography
Malyshko Dmitry — Russian biathlete, honored master of sports. Among his most outstanding achievements is the gold medal of the Sochi Olympics, silver at the European Championships 2010 and the championship in recent domestic competitions. Dmitry was born in Leningrad region in the city with a beautiful name Pine forest. Thanks to the speed and great technique Dmitry in 2008 won a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in Saransk and got «on a pencil» coach of the youth national team.
Then the young man moved to St. Petersburg and begins to engage in a stronger team. But, unfortunately, the global financial crisis it was at that moment affected the biathlon Federation. Almost all equipment the athletes had to buy their own expense. Plus Dmitri, in his words, didn’t feel like it really interested. And he commits the act, for which the public could get a promising athlete: he is retiring. As for education Dmitry Malyshko – economist (he graduated from St. Petersburg state University of service and economy), could be employed in one of the banks of the Northern capital.

For ordinary life, no it wasn’t a risk, but if he wanted to continue to perform at a high level, where physical activity is incredibly high, then surgical intervention is necessary. In early 2011, Dmitry decided on surgery, and in February begins to train. Moreover, at the national Championships in April of the same year Malyshko took second place.
As Dmitry first proved to be a great skier who knows how to develop greater speed, then it became a mandatory participant in the relay. In subsequent years the athlete has been raised repeatedly on the podium at the European Championships and world Cups. With 18 medals won by Dmitry today at the highest level, 12 have in team competitions.
Did not disappoint the Russian fans of biathlon Dmitry Malyshko and at the home Olympics in Sochi. In the relay he showed a very good time together with Anton Shipulin, Evgeny Ustyugov and Alexey Volkov won the main award.

Dmitry Malyshko has long met with his girlfriend Ekaterina Tikhonova. Officially they have not got married, but in January 2015 they had a son Philip. It is noteworthy that little Phil was born at the very moment when his father raced on the track in Oberhof for your next coin.
