    Jeff Monson: biography

    Jeffrey Monson is an American and a Russian athlete, mixed martial arts fighter. He is a double world champion in wrestling and a world champion in Brazilian JIU-jitsu.

    Jeffrey was born and most of the childhood spent in the town of St. Paul, located in the state of Minnesota. In 11 years, the boy became interested in Greco-Roman wrestling, competed in many regional competitions. Later he switched to other martial arts. Mainly engaged in grappenhall that he attracted the interest of the fact that this is the most dynamic type of wrestling where athletes aim to quickly inflict a painful or suffocating reception. He also made time for the Brazilian variety of JIU-jitsu, but in grappling Jeffrey Monson has achieved outstanding results.

    Career

    In mixed martial arts Jeff Monson made his debut at the age of 26. First, he’s not really shone in the ring, but then he managed to win the world championship in grappling, which resulted in the signing of a contract with one of the world’s best associations of the UFC. Debut there, too, was not sweet: Jeff lost two fights out of three and was sent to the less prestigious tournaments.

    In the early 21st century athlete hones shock technique, which was its weakest link and winning 13 matches in a row, wins one tournament after the other.     Personal life

    Jeffrey Monson has been twice married. The first time he went down the aisle, when he was about 20 years. From these relations he is survived by a daughter, Michaela, 1993, and for 3 years the youngest son Joshua.
